First Baptist Church exists to worship God and to offer the residents and visitors of Petersburg and the surrounding area with a place for life-enriching worship with fellow believers. We gather for worship each Sunday at 11:00 am and again at 6:00 pm. Worship at First Baptist is centered around For both Sunday morning and Sunday evening, we offer traditional yet casual worship centered around straight-forward practical proclamation of God's Word with a blend of both traditional and contemporary music. We gladly welcome anyone, regardless of his or her denominational background, to join us as we seek to glorify God.
